Introduction
The organization, hereinafter referred to as "Trust-Score", "we",
"our", or "us", places a strong emphasis on safeguarding user
privacy. Any individual accessing or using the platform, referred to as "you" or
"your", can be assured that the information shared during the use of our service,
including the AI-enabled shopping solution, is handled with due care and responsibility.
This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, utilize, manage, store, share, and protect your
personal information when you use or interact with our platform through WhatsApp, website, or our
mobile application.
This includes any engagement through text messages, product images, links, or browser extensions
(including those labelled with "Trust-Score").
By accessing the platform, signing up, or using Trust-Score and indicating your consent during
registration, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. This policy does not extend to any
third-party websites or services that may be accessed through our platform.
Information We Collect
We collect only the product URL voluntarily provided by the user and extract limited
information, including the product identifier (ASIN) and country code, strictly for the purpose of
conducting our analysis.
Data Retention & Analysis Results
We save the outcomes of our AI analysis, such as the authenticity score, percentage of fake reviews,
adjusted rating, explanations, and examples of flagged reviews. This enables us to provide users
with a shareable permanent link for analysing the same product again, making the process faster and
more efficient.
We do not store IP addresses in our database or link them with analyses.
Chrome Extension Permissions
The Trust-Score Chrome Extension requires the following permissions to function:
- Active Tab: To read product page content and
extract review data from the currently active tab.
- Storage: To save user preferences and cached
analysis results locally on your device.
- Host Permissions: To access product pages on
Amazon, Flipkart, and Myntra for review scraping.
The extension operates entirely on the client side for data extraction. Scraped
reviews are sent only to the Trust-Score server for ML analysis and are not shared with any third
parties.
